Chungju Muhak Market (충주 무학시장)

This traditional market is located in downtown Chungju. It is the largest market in Chungju, beloved by locals as well. Unlike other traditional markets, it has an alley dedicated to sundae and mandu.  Sundae and mandu are two Korean favorites that offer flavor and nutrition in equal measure, so there are a lot of stalls that serve the duo in Muhak Market. Chungju-style sundae soup in particular is known for its inclusion of dried radish leaves, which impart a deep flavor to the soup.

Sundae is a beloved traditional dish enjoyed as a snack in Korea.
