Daebudo Island, connected to the mainland by the Sihwa Seawall, is named ‘daebu’ due to its resemblance to a “great hill.” A notable feature is the cluster of six islands known as Yukdo, which includes Tando (known for its black stones), Buldo (legend says a Buddha was born here), Seongamdo (believed to be a playground for Taoist immortals), among three others. The coastline is dotted with restaurants offering noodle soup and grilled clams, making it a perfect destination for a day trip. Additional attractions worth exploring are the Daebudo Metasequoia Trail, Daebudo Park, and the Bangameori dock.
