Dosan Ahn Changho Memorial Hall was established for the purpose of sharing the mind and spirit of Ahn Chang-ho. Ahn Chang-ho, penname Dosan, was an independence movement activist who dedicated sixty years of his life to both modernize and free his country. He was a great leader and mentor to the Korean people. The Dosan Ahn Changho Memorial Hall was built to express the strenuous efforts, loyalty and bravery he demonstrated during his life in hopes for a better future. This memorial hall hopes to inspire patrons with the same direction and passion in life that Dosan had for Korea and humanity.

Horim Art Center in Sinsa-dong is a branch of Horim Museum, opened in Sillim-dong by the Sungbo Cultural Foundation in June of 2009 with the aim of bringing art closer to people. This museum has exhibition halls on the second through fourth floors, a museum shop, and lounge. The building, themed to look like comb-patterned ceramics, is a piece of artwork in itself. The museum aims to show the beauty of Korea’s cultural art pieces.
