This house is now used as a traditional lifestyle and culture learning center for studying traditional Korean culture and customs. Built on a 10,209 ㎡ site, the house contains 14 buildings, including one exhibiting a collection of farming tools. The establishment itself is one of few living artifacts in the country, offering a peek into how ancient Koreans lived. ⊙ Bansong Market (반송시장)
Bansong Market is a traditional market located between the apartments where Changwon locals live. Through the redevelopment in the 1990s, Bansong Market was also remodeled and transformed with a modern atmosphere and look, welcoming visitors with cleaner facilities. Like any other traditional market, all items are present, and above all, it is known as a market supplying food and daily necessities for Changwon locals. The hidden attraction here is Kalguksu Village, where visitors can find an area of people sitting in groups of two or three on narrow, long chairs and eat a bowl of hot kalguksu (noodle soup) and kimchi. Kalguksu Village is recommended for soaking up the authentic local market vibe.
