College student U-hyeon searches for his brother Hui-taek, who went missing during the war, while his younger brother Yun-seop urges him to forget the past. As U-hyeon begins gathering testimonies about the massacres with senior In-gyeong, he realizes his brother’s disappearance is connected to the atrocities—and that Yun-seop may be hiding something.
By unraveling one family’s buried secrets, the show examines how silence and avoidance breed further tragedy. It powerfully reflects on how ordinary people can be both victims and perpetrators, challenging audiences to consider their own stance toward history.
