Jeongok Port is a port facing Jebudo Island and Nueseom Island. It was selected as Korea’s first leisure fishing port. It was developed after being chosen as an experimental zone. It was created as a multi-functional theme fishing port, where fishing, yacht experiences, a marina, and an annual fishing competition are available. There are many restaurants nearby serving fresh seafood and shellfish from the West Sea. The West Sea and Jebudo Marine Cable Car is also located nearby, making it a tourist destination that offers not only water activities but also car drives and walks.

⊙ Harbour Front (하버프론트)


Harbour Front is a cafe with a great view of Jeongok Port. On clear days, visitors may take in the scenery of Jebudo Island while enjoying desserts and drinks. One can also enjoy the view from the sky lounge on the top floor. The signature dish here is waffles – sweet, thick waffles topped with whipped cream and various flavors of ice cream. Place one’s order on the first floor, and go upstairs to enjoy the tranquil view of the port. There is also an elevator, making it easier to go upstairs.

Recharge one’s energy with a hot bowl of soup after cool water activities. This restaurant is located near Jeongok Port. The main menu is noodle soup made with fresh seafood caught in the West Sea. Thick and chewy noodles are made by cutting dough with a knife. Noodle soup with seafood is delicious and nutritious. One can feel the harmony of flavors when eating noodle soup with clams and noodle soup boiled with various types of seafood with seafood and green onion pancakes, made by kneading various seafood and vegetables in batter and pan-frying them. Seafood lovers should also try steamed clams with a rich flavor or griddled octopus with spicy sauce.

Hwaseong Boating Festival is a maritime cultural festival held at Jeongok Port, the closest port to Seoul. Jeongok Port is just over a two-hour distance from Seoul by public transportation and is beloved by couples for its beautiful sunsets. The festival offers a full day of diverse sea-related experiences, including sailing yachts, powerboats, marine cable cars, sea fishing village experiences, and non-motorized watercraft activities. The festival also features an EDM party by the sea at night, dance performances by residents, plogging, and concerts, providing plenty of entertainment.

Nueseom Lighthouse Observatory is a lighthouse and observatory located on the small uninhabited Nueseom Island, just off the coast of Tando Port in Daebudo Island. Serving to aid the safe navigation of ships along the Seohae Coast and providing opportunities for coastal tourism and natural learning. On the first and second floors, visitors can view exhibitions related to Nueseom Island and lighthouses both domestically and internationally. On the third floor, panoramic views of the sea are available.
